Anagrams

Teacher's notes:

  1. Write the word 'anagram' on the board.
  2. Ask the students to tell you what an anagram is.
  3. Once you have clarified what an anagram is, show them an example.
  4. Write 'desperation' on the board and ask the students to use the letters from this word to make a sentence or other words.
  5. Tell them to work in pairs while they are doing this activity.
  6. Ask the students for their answers and then write the real one on the board.

  7. Dictate the words below to the students
  8. Ask the students to think about the anagrams for those words.
