Same sound different word
Type of activity: this is a matching pronunciation activity which focuses on students finding similar sounds in words.
Level: Intermediate
Teacher's notes:
- Say two words to the students which contain the same sound e.g. egg and hen. Ask the students to tell you which sound the words both contain. Ask them to repeat the words so that they can hear and feel the same sound.
