Dates Dictation

Type: Dates activity
Level: Intermediate Students

Teacher's notes: This activity allows you to teach and/or review the use of dates.

  1. Dictate the dates to the students.
  2. The students should write down the dates.
  3. Ensure that the dates have been taken down correctly by going over them with the students.
  4. Put the students into pairs and ask them to guess why the dates are important, ie what happend on those dates?
  5. At the end of the activity, give out the correct answers and ask the students who the most correct.
