Tastes

Teacher's notes:

1. If you can, bring some foods into class e.g. a lemon, an orange, rice, chocolate.
2. Ask the students to tell you how these things taste.
3. Put the students into pairs to look at the tastes below.
4. Ask them to match the foods and the tastes.
5. Tell the students to describe foods from their countries.
6. Ask them to tell the group what they would recommend a tourist to their country should eat.
7. The students could make presentations to the whole group about the food visitors to their countries should eat.
8. Encourage the students to use the words from the list below.
