Classic Moments

Activity type: this is a mingling activity in which students discuss special moments.


Level: Pre-intermediate and above


Teacher's notes:

1. Begin this activity by telling the students a ‘moment’ that you have witnessed that made you feel really good.
   
   For example I was traveling on a train once and I saw a man give a blind man, who was playing an accordion for money, a $100 bill.
   The blind man didn’t realize how much money it was which made the event even nicer. It made me feel really good.
   
   
2. Put the students into pairs and ask them to discuss similar types of events.
   
3. This is a nice warmer or a cooler and can build into a story telling activity which the students could follow up by writing the events down.
